Hongxing Geng completed his MSc in 2007 and his PhD in 2017, both from the Agents Lab. For his MSc thesis research, he developed a mailbox ownership based mechanism for curbing spam. Hongxing is employed at Athabasca University in Alberta, which is the largest open university in Canada, offering degree programs over the Internet.
