Ryan Harrison completed his M.Sc. in 2015 on programming of sequential simulations using Actors.  His thesis can be found here.

Ryan is employed by Google Canada.  He was previously employed by the Canadian Light Source to help develop their beam orbit correction system, by the Department of Chemistry to work on EPR/NMR simulation software, and by Vecima Networks to develop digital cable system hardware.
